Getting the right plant genes through pollination techniques to produce the exact colors and required viability is a challenge undertaken by the team to satisfy the demanding global consumers. The skilled local production team together with the involvement of the designated specialists from our customers, conduct the entire operations of the company.
Open Pollinated Flower Seeds
Unlike production of hybrids inside green houses, open pollinated outdoor production is highly seasonal. We pay utmost attention to identifying the locations with suitable climates and take steps to produce crops in the appropriate season enabling us to be a reliable seed supplier to our international customers. Care is taken to ensure variety purity, with different seed crops of the same species are grown in isolation distances from each other, a minimum of 100 meters. Most importantly the specific steps taken in our open pollinated hybrid seed productions allow us to minimize the risk of having quarantine weed seeds mixed with the production seeds – an important step to ensure top quality open pollinated flower seed.
